Abstract

A paint-applicator cleaning device (10) includes an enclosure (14). Means are provided for mounting a paint roller in the enclosure such that it is free to rotate about an axis within the enclosure. A fluid distributor (16) directs a flow of fluid onto the paint roller for cleaning the roller and such that the paint roller is caused to rotate. The fluid distributor is mountable within the enclosure to enable adjustment of the position and/or direction of the fluid onto the roller. A paintbrush cleaning device (200) comprises means (202) for supporting a paintbrush to be cleaned. A fluid distributor (210) directs a flow of fluid in between the bristles of the paintbrush.
