232,157. Oelwerke Stern-Sonneborn Akt.-Ges., and Duffing, G. April 14, 1924, [Convention date]. Oil, retaining.-According to the Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), draining rings and strippers for returning oil are made of horn, artificial horn made of casein and casein substitutes, or phenol artificial resin with paper, fibrous or fabric fillings or insertions. In the latter case, paper insertions saturated with the resin are superposed in layers to a sufficient thickness and pressed together under high pressure. The ring &c. may consist entirely of such a hornlike material, or may consist of a metallic body surfaced with the hornlike material. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
