Abstract
A disposable toilet seat cover is a shaped cover with an aperture 2 that fits onto a toilet seat for the purpose of providing a fresh, clean surface on which to sit whilst using the toilet. The cover 1 is releasably secured to the seat by the elasticity and/or adhesion of the edge 3. After use, the disposable toilet seat cover is removed and disposed of.
Description
This invention relates to usage of toilet seats.
Using toilet seats other than those in the domestic environment is known to give rise to concerns. whether real or imaginary, in respect of cleanliness and hygiene. Owing to these concerns.
various ideas are implemented to avoid sitting in direct contact with the seat. Some of these ideas can be inconvenient or uncomfortable or both.
This invention is intended to help to alleviate these problems by providing a fresh. clean insulation between the user and the seat and thus avoiding direct contact with the seat when in use. It is simply attached to the toilet seat by its elasticity and/or adhesion and, after use. simply removed for disposal.
Referring to the drawing. the cover 1 is made of disposable material(s) and fits on top of the toilet seat. It incorporates the necessary aperture 2 and an edge 3 . also made of disposable material. of sufficient elasticity and/or adhesion to enable it to be sliPPed around and under the rim of the seat. thus holding it in position. Removal is simply a reversal of the attachment proceedure.
Claims (1)
1 A disposable toilet seat cover comprising a cover in the general shape of a toilet seat incorporating an aperture and an edge of sufficient elasticity and/or adhesion for releasably securing the cover to the seat and being made from disposable material(s).
