Abstract

A pump operated toothbrush comprises a handle 3.4 containing a refillable cartridge 6.4. This cartridge is connected to the brush head 2.1 by a channel 2.2. In use, pressure on the switch 3.3 causes the rubber diaphragm 6.3 to be depressed causing toothpaste to be pumped from the reservoir to the brush head and out through holes at the base of the bristles. The brush head has a cover 1.2.

THE TOOTH BRUSH HEAD CAN BE REPLACED.
THE CARTRIDGE CAN EITHER BE DISPOSED OR REFrLLED.
DISABLE PERSONS CAN USE THIS TOOTH BRUSH.

THE CARTRIDGE IS REMOVED PROM THE HANDLE, THEN TEE CARTRIDGE IS SPLIT INTO TWO PARTS, TIIE TOP (6 4) AND THE BOTTOM (6:6).
THE PISTON (5:1) IS THEN REMOVED FROM THE BOTTOM (6 6) OF THE CARTRIDGE. THE BOTTOM (6:6) AND TO TOP (6:4) ARE FITTED TOGETR, THEN THE CARTRIDGE IS FILLED WITH TOOTHPASTE. FROM THE BOTTOM (6:4) AND THE PISTON (5:1) Is REPLACED.
THE CARTRIDGE IS PLACED INTO THE INTO THE HANDLE (3:4) AND THE BOTTOM (4:2) IS REPLACED AND LOCKED (4:1).
WHEN THE SWITCH (3:3) IS PRESSED INWARDS, THIS ACTION ALLOWS THE FORKS (3 7) TO MOVE UP AND DOWN.
THIS ACTION CAUSES THE RUBBER DIAPAM (6:3) TO BE PUSHED DOWNWARDS, THEN IT REGAINS ITS' SHAPE.
WHILE THIS ACTION IS IN PROGRESS THE PISTON (5:1) IS SUCKED UPWiS, BY ALLOWING TO 4 CONCAVE CLAWS (5:2) TO CONTRACT THEN EXPAND WHEN THE RUBBER DIAPHRAM (6:3) IS PUSHED DOWNWARDS. THIS ACTION CAUSES TOOTHPASTE TO FLOW UP THE CARTRIDGE THE (6:1) INTO THE TOOTHPASTE CHAPEL (Z:2) CH Is THEN CHA - EL THROUGH ANY OF 3 HOLES (2:4) PLACE THE BRISTLES (2:3) THIS AMOUNT OF TOOTHPASTE DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF TIMES THE SWITCH (3:3) IS PRESSED OWNS.
