Abstract

A device to assist drivers when manoeuvring in close proximity to a wall or other obstruction. A horizontal member 2 projects from a vertical member 9,10 and is adapted to be contacted by the manoeuvring vehicle as it approaches the obstruction. A mechanical linkage activates the warning device 13 at the top of the upright member. The vertical member 10 is also equipped with a spike 14 at its lower end for the device to be secured in the ground. A second horizontal member 15 features an adjustment means.

Description

A Safe Distance Adjuster Device made of light plastic material to assess drivers to safely adjust parking their car in front of a solid wall or fence.
As shown in Figure 1, A Safe Distance Adjuster Device that is consists of 2 Parts. The first part is the square cushion (1), which is attached to horizontal bar (2), which ends with a solid plastic ball (3). The solid plastic ball has an upper (4) and lower tracks (5), attached to an upper (6) and lower arms (7), that can accommodate the solid plastic ball into and out of the central base of the main vertical bar (8).
The central base of the main vertical bar has an upper (9), and lower bars attached to it (10). The upper bar has an inside vertical small bar indicator (11), that is passes through the central base of the main vertical bar at the lower end with a solid round shape (12), and connected to a stop sign round shape at the top end (13). The lower bar of the main vertical bar ends with a solid needle (14). The second part is the horizontal adjustable arm (15) that is connected from the central base of the main vertical bar.
The horizontal adjustable arm has a square shape ending (16), covered with a scratch resistance material (17).

Claims (4)

  1. CLAIMS 1. A Safe Distance Adjuster Device made of light plastic material to assess drivers to safely adjust parking their car in front of a solid wall or fence. (See Figure 1)
  2. 2. Device as in claim 1, has a square cushion (1), which is attached to horizontal bar (2), which ends with a solid plastic ball (3).
  3. 3. Device as in claim 1, the solid plastic ball has an upper (4) and lower tracks (5), attached to an upper (6) and lower arms (7), that can accommodate the solid plastic ball into and out of the central base of the main vertical bar (8).
  4. 4. Device as in claim 1, has a horizontal, wall engaging, adjustable arm (15), that has a square shaped ending (16), covered with a scratch resistant material (17).
    4. Device as in claim 1, the central base of the main vertical bar has an upper (9), and lower bars attached to it (10).
    5. Device as in claim 1, the upper bar has an inside vertical small bar indicator (11), that is passes through the central base of the main vertical bar at the lower end with a solid round shape (12), and connected to a stop sign round shape at the top end (13).
    6. Device as in claim 1, the lower bar of the main vertical bar ends with a solid needle (14).
    7. Device as in claim 1, has a horizontal adjustable arm (15) that is connected from the central base of the main vertical bar.
    8. Device as in claim 1, the horizontal adjustable arm has a square shape ending (16), covered with a scratch resistance material (17). Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows CLAIMS 1. A safe distance adjuster device with a horizontal bar (2) that ends with a solid plastic ball (3), that moves by means of an upper (4) and lower track (5) to actuate a warning sign (eg. a Stop sign) (13), when the car's bumper contacts a square cushion (1) on the horizontal bar.
    2. A device as in claim 1, has a warning sign (eg. a stop sign), that can move up and down when the solid plastic ball on the horizontal bar contacts a solid round shape (12) at the end of the warning sign.
    3. Device as in claim 1, which has a solid needle to position the device in the ground (14).
