Abstract

The Blockage Buster consists of a deformable ball with an air inlet hole to allow air to enter the ball. Diametrically opposite the inlet hole is an integral or separately attached air outlet pipe fitted with a fine mesh grill to prevent ingress of sediment but permit easy egress of air when the air inlet hole is sealed by the index finger and the ball simultaneously sqeezed by the remaining three fingers and thumb, or other hand of the operator. The air expelled then aerates the sediment causing a swirling motion and breaking up the sediment in contrast to the compacting of the sediment caused by a directly applied hydrostatic head of waste liquid as a consequence of the aeration and resultant movement of the sediment and waste liquid, the waste liquid can flow freely to the drain.

deformable ball with an air inlet hole to allow air to enter the ball.
Diametrically opposite the inlet hole is an integral or. separately attached air outlet pipe fitted with a fine mesh grill to prevent ingress of sediment but permit easy egress of air when the air inlet hole is sealed by the index finger and the ball simultaneously sqeezed by the remaining three -he operator.
fingers and thumb, or other hand of 1.
1M The Blockage Buster is made up of a ball and tube.
The blockage in the drain is usually made up of tea leaf sediment that builds up in the water trap, thus preventing any wa3te water flowing into the drains.
The blockage buster pipe is inserted into the drain to the traD and the cold water turned on to a reasonable force.
Pump action is created by vigorously squeezing the ball sending air pressure into the sludge and mixing it with the running water into a consistency that flows easily into the drains.
