Description

1 2352763 OVERGUARD SECURITY LOCKING SYSTEM FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
TECHNICAL FIELD
BACKGROUND
Commercial vehicles in all businesses, are targets for crime. Such as force of entry through rear doors and side loading door. The reason being, because of the goods they transport.
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL FEATURES This invention relates to a security push button deadlock, that is assembled onto the rear doors and side loading door, that once installed, will deter most opportunist break-ins, as it is of solid steel in construction, and has a first class deadlock.
EXAMIPLE A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which FIG I SHOWS SEPARATION OF PARTS FIG 2 SHOWS FULLY ASSEMBLED IN LOCKED POSITION FIG 3 SHOWS FULLY ASSEMBLED WITH BOLT LOCK IN THE OPEN POSITION 2 REFERING TO THE DRAWINGS The Over-guard Security Casing (10) Comprises of a steel casing square in shape and of solid construction, housing four holes for coach bolt installation when required. A three quarter inch hole drilled through top centre (12) that will house a push button cylinder deadlock not shown. At inside front base of casing (10), a bolt control stop (14) the inside security bolt (16) houses two centre holes, the hole (18) is the security locking position hole, the second hole (20) is for locking bolt in the open position preventing misuse of bolt if driver is in rear of van. The bolt (16) also has a bolt stop underneath front centre of bolt. So as bolt is. pulled in the open position the bolt will enter into the bolt control stop (14) in casing (10) making bolt stationary at that point and the inside hole (20) in line with the push button cylinder when lock is installed a side security bolt casing (22) housing two ressed holes for bolt installation to rear of vehicle doors ECT.
3 CLAMMS The over guard security device will prevent break-ins, to rear doors of commercial vehicles ECT.
As most vans if not all have no security apart from the rear door lock that, can and are forced open very easily. I know this for a fact the over-guard can and will lock heavy goods cab doors solid safeguarding the goods that they carry as its solid security and unbeatable in its field and I know there's no device on the road that could challenge it.
