Abstract

A length of 20 bar airline having a screw or clip on fitting, fitted to one end of the airline and secured with an "O" ring, the other end having a valve also secured with an "O" ring, is fixed to the spare wheel by the fitting, the other end being fitted on to the vehicle allowing access to the valve whether in the boot or on the underside of the vehicle. This allows the spare wheel to be checked and or inflated without having to remove the contents of the boot or having to crawl underneath the vehicle.

Description

DESCRIPTION OF SPARE TYRE AIRLM.
A LENGHT OF AIRLINE 12MM DIAMETRE WITH 6MM INTERNAL BORE WITH 20 BAR CAPABILITY, ONE END FITTED WITH CAR VALVE HELD IN PLACE WITH AN O RING, THE OTHER END FITTED WITH SCREW ON OR CLIP CONNECTOR (SEE DRAWING NUMBER 1).
IF THE SPARE WHEEL IS IN THE BOOT WELL, REMOVE CARPET. AND WHEEL COVER USING EITHER A CLIP OR SCREW CONNECTOR FIT AIRLINE ONTO THE VALVE OF THE SPARE TYRE MAKING SURE THE CONNECTION IS TIGHT WITH NO AIR LEAKAGE IF THERE IS A HOLE IN THE SLARE WHEEL COVER PASS THE AIRLINE THROUGH IF THERE IS NOT A HOLE DRILL ONE 22MM DIAMETRE THROUGH THE COVER TO PASS THE AIRLINE REPLACE THE WHEEL COVER WITH THE AIRLINE THROUGH THE BACK OVER THE SPARE WHEEL.
RUNN THE AIRLINE ALONG THE FLOOR OF THE BOOT TO LTHE REAR OF THE CAR TOND FIX TO SE SCREW ON CLIP AS SHOWN (SEE PHOTOGRAPH NUMBER 1).
THE SPARE WHEEL CAN NOW BE INFLATED WITHOUT HAVING TO EMPTY OLT THE BOOT AND REMOTNG THE SPARE WHEEL. THE VALVE IS EASILIY ACCESSIBLE AND MAKES CHECKING THE TYRE PRESSURE OF THE SPARE WHEEL HASSLE FREE.
IF THE SPARE WHEEL IS LOCATED IN A CARRIER CAGE UNDERNEATH THE CAR, THE AIRLINE IS FITTED IN THE SAME WAY BUT CLIPPED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR WITH THE VALVE JUST BELOW THE REAR BUMPER (SEE PHOTOGRAPH NUMBER 2)

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIM WITH AN AIRLINE FITTED SPARE TYRE PRESSURE CAN BE CHECKED OR INFLATED WITHOUT HAVING TO EMPTY OUT THE BOOT OR LIFT CARPET OR COVER OVER THE SPARE REGEL.
    IN CASE OF THE SPARE WHEEL BEING UNDER THE VEHICLE, WITH AN AIRLINE FITTED THE WHEEL CAN BE CHECKED WITHOUT HAVING TO CRAWL UNDER THE CAR TO CONNECT AN . AIRLINE THUS MAKING THE GADJET AIRLINE A SAFE AND HASSLE FREE SAFETY CHECK FOR YOUR CAR.
