Abstract

A device for changing boring and/or drilling rods on a tap-hole drilling machine comprises a magazine (10) with compartments (14, 16, 18, 20) capable of receiving several types of rod (14', 16', 18', 20'), and a device (12) for handling the rods, capable of gripping a rod in the said magazine and of aligning it along an axis defined on the drilling machine. The compartments (14, 16, 18, 20) are arranged on a carriage (22) which can move horizontally with respect to the device (12) for handling the rods. The handling device (12) comprises a vertical supporting column (60), a handling arm (62) and a gripping unit (64). <IMAGE>
