Abstract
The stick 1 has a handle 2 which serves as a seat or dishing rod support, a support 3 for a bag of weeds or fishing rod, a fisherman's third hand 4, a dished washer 5 and a buttress 6 for lifting weeds, roots of fence posts or for scraping boots, cutting earth or loosening stones. Auger 7 has a vee gap to be used as a boot jack, hole 9 enables make-off of fencing wire and slot 10 may be used to extract protruding nails. The stick may be yellow. <IMAGE>

SPECIFICATION
Multipotent stick
1- Multipotentsticktodo manythings, steel or stainless steel brazed, weight 1140 gms 2.5 Ibs.
2 Handre--a seat--wrenchh-of aluminium or moulded unbreakable plastic-fishing rod support.
3 Supportforbagofweeds-fishing rod-loop fortommy bar if extra turn- is needed in stony ground.
4 Fisherman's third hand, see 5/5-transparent plastic vice for tying fishing hooks on bank, in stream, in or offshore; to gripthe small fly hook or that big sea one; seated on bank or out in water; carry it in pocket at seat hold under boot for heavy tie, extender available.
5 Dished washer, plastic our brass, fix by self-tap screwfor in-line temporary hold.
6 Buttress4ulcrum for lifting weeds, deep roots, fence posts. Muck-scraperfrom instep of boot Lt and
Rt. Scriberto clean cut earth and loosen stones.
7 Auger, see 4/5, takes out holes in all sorts of earth for planting-out, setting new fence posts, pets droppings and humous or humus in the garden, drainage and water table tests. Vee gap is successful boot-jack and when hoeing ortaking-out a trench in fined soil, leaves a pyramidal ridge to implant precious seedlings, seismi effect brings up lug and worms for bait in waterorsoil.
8 Spike, see also 6 above, facilitates walking on iceyanddangerousground, proddingfordryorwet rot in timber around estate. Markerforstring lines and soft fru it pickers.
9 HoleS mm formake-off ofheavyfencing wire.
10 Hole 4 mmto slotfordrawing protruding nails.
The spike 8also provides for a steady seat on level or sloping ground. The bottom end cut at 450 is easily sharpened.
1. - Multipotentstick is a compositetool to drawing sheet3/5 the most significantfeature being the Auger items 6/7 with buttress-scraper-scriberto bore/take out holes in earth requiring only average hand strength for boring ortorque effort.
2. Researched for the profile of cutting edge also throat shape for efficient through-put and lifting of earth. With combined features "BootJack" and spike for lifting deep-rooted growing weeds, also scraper for the removal of muck from boots.

1. Multipurpose device to aidwalking and rest comprising basically a tubular stick on to which tube is securelywelded or brazed a combination of designed fabricated steel or stainless steel componentswhich together form my innovation and application for patent, drawings together illustrate them as following descriptions: Disc Auger 5 - an earth boring device with part helical screw designed with maximum throat, pitch and lead with chamfer on front edgeto cut and lift with average hand effort on stick tractable earth.Disc
Auger 1 has a V shape slot having one edge set-up earth retaining stop, other edge or side of V slot has sharp edge removed to prevent scratching footware as this V slot feature is specifically designed as an important part of combined innovation an instant BOOT-JACK. The disc element encircles tubular stick and together with other elements described as follows are securely welded or brazed to surmounting stick. It is an aid for walking with the stick on mushyground or sea shores. When used indoors DiscAuger 1 is a foot rest up from coid floor draught and being surmounted by stick is for avid readerto rise up from seat with surprising ease to answer calls.
2. Multipurpose stick device includes in its furnishings buttress-scraper5firstlyto buttress disc auger second being of stiff square section steel set diametrically it is an effective scraper to remove mud ordirtfromfootwear, thirdly the scriberwith chisel form at lower end fore cuts earth for a tidy clean sided hole for purposes set down in the specification.
Furthermore the buttress scraperweldedto auger disc partially turned up to function as Fulcrum for
3. Spike 4 of angular cross section with edge dressed to be a driving fit into tube 6 with lower end of tube closed inwards and welded to prevent ingress of earth and water. Holes 2 and 3 are drilled through root of steel anglespike for wire and spike manipulation as herein described.
4. Multipurpose device which overall is given a waterproofing coating colour YELLOW because the human eyefocuses readily on longwave length yellow so that it is outlined sharply and intensively to the eye so thatthe stick whether in use or not is readily located in barn, garage or if lost with user in bramble woodland.
5. A practical multipurpose device innovated con- structed substantially as herein described and as illustrated in detail by accompanying drawings.
The claims were filed later than the filing date within the period prescribed by Rule 25(1)
of the Patent Rules 1982.
