Abstract

A grinding mill having a plurality of hammers or beaters (22) mounted on a rotatable drum (20) disposed within a cylindrical chamber (14), part of whose wall is constituted by a screen, is provided with a fan (25) for drawing air outwardly through said screen and recycling into the interior of the chamber. A further fan (23) and filter (24), discharging to atmosphere, may be provided. <IMAGE>
