Abstract
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device that can efficiently record video data between a plurality of imaging devices or between an imaging device and a recording device. [Solution] A video monitoring system provided with an imaging device (1-1 to 4-4) disposed in a railroad car or the like, a network switch (W1 to w4), a video display device (H1, H2), a management device (K), and other components, wherein the conditions inside a vehicle are monitored by video, the video data is recorded in a recording medium mounted installed in the imaging device, and a recording medium of another imaging device is shared in order to optimize the interval for replacing the recording medium or removing the video data.
