Abstract

An artificial hand for connecting to an arm prosthesis has an upper finger and thumb mounting part and a lower cuff part 1 having a texture resembling human skin and an inner cavity 2 for receiving a mechanism for controlling a thumb 5 or finger 6, the upper and lower part being an integral sheath 3 of a synthetic material. <IMAGE>
