Abstract

Light deflecting patch 10 and a kit for attaching the light deflecting patch to a vehicle headlamp (figure 3, 200), has a light deflecting element 10 and an alignment mark 50 for assisting in positioning the light deflecting element relative to the headlamp 200. The alignment mark may be a raised bump, pip or hemisphere. The light deflecting patch may comprise a light deflecting element and an adhesive member (figure 2, 100) for fixing the light deflecting element to the headlamp. And aperture (figure 2, 150) can align with the alignment mark. The light deflecting patch deflects a beam of light from the headlamp in an alternative direction, thereby converting the vehicle to avoid dazzling oncoming motorists when travelling in countries that drive on a different side of the road.
