Abstract
A soluble dispersant composition for a powder paint, wherein the composition comprises sodium chloride, sodium, carbonate, sodium phosphate, and sucrose. Typically, the composition contains 1-50% sodium chloride, 1-50% sodium carbonate, 1-50% sodium phosphate, and 1-50% sucrose. In use, the dispersant composition may be added to water in an amount of 5-25 wt.%, which is intended to be added to the powder paint. Alternatively, the dispersant composition may be formulated as a particulate to be included in the powder paint itself. The paint is preferably a natural paint, such as one made from proteins derived from milk, eggs, rice or soy.
