Abstract

A vapour vent for an aircraft tank comprises a vent pipe (1) which contains a flame arrestor member (2) and between this flame arrestor member and the outside atmosphere (E) a frost arrestor member (3). This latter as well as the flame arrestor member may be formed by an obstacle disposed in the pipe but having gaps letting a fluid pass freely therethrough. <IMAGE>
