Abstract

A current mode switch for incorporation in a digital-to-analog converter includes a logic signal input means, a reference voltage source, a constant current source, a first pair of NPN transistors whose emitters are coupled together and to said constant current source and whose bases are coupled to said signal input means, a second pair of NPN transistors whose emitters are coupled together and whose bases are connected, respectively, to the collectors of said first pair of NPN transistors, a pair of matched resistors coupled, respectively, between one polarity of said reference voltage source and the bases of said second pair of NPN transistors, and a current source resistor coupled between said emitters of said second pair of NPN transistors and the opposite polarity of said reference voltage source. <IMAGE>
