Abstract

A hinge having an aperture angle of more than 90 DEG comprises a hinge arm 2, which can be fastened to a furniture part such as a cupboard side wall 9, and a hinge casing 3, which can be fastened to another furniture part such as a door 10. The hinge arm and the hinge casing are connected together by means of hinge links 4, 5, 6. A guide plate 14 is provided on the arm 2 for guiding a spring-loaded pressure lever 18 mounted on one of the hinge links. The pressure lever cooperates with the guide plate to hold the door in a closed position (shown) or in an intermediate position between its fully open and closed positions. <IMAGE>
