Abstract
The present invention relates to a laminated element 10 containing rubber, usable as support and articulation element between two rigid support pieces 13, 13', said element being constituted at least in part by layers 11 of superposed fabric embedded in rubber 12, whereby said element has a high ultimate compressive crushing strength perpendicularly to the layers and a low lateral rigidity in shear. The layers may be made of glass or carbon fibres and the support pieces of metal. <IMAGE>
