Friction compositions contain, in place of asbestos >20% wt. of non-fibrous inorganic compounds, of Moh hardness 2-5, and also:(a) a thermo-setting resin, (b) cashew nut resin particles, and (c) non-asbestos fibre. Use: disc brake pads.
