Abstract

Apparatus for feeding the bottom sheet from a stack of superposed sheets contained in a magazine 1 which includes a stop 7 for supporting the trailing edge of the bottom sheet at a higher level than its leading edge and a pusher 9 for engaging the raised trailing edge of the bottom sheet. After the trailing edge of the bottom sheet has been displaced by the pusher 9 it falls onto the plane of feed E. A pair of grippers 13 min (figs 2 and 3, not shown) advance the bottom sheet further, while a champer (18) and an upper surface (20) of the grippers (13 min ) raise the rest of the stack. <IMAGE>
