Abstract
209,371. Lee, H. W., and Kapella, Ltd. July 19, 1923. Lenses.-Photographic lenses, having improved correction of the zonal spherical aberration and improved apochromatism, are constructed of four lenses, i.e. a single collective component, a single dispersive component and a compound collective component, in this order. The axial separation between the dispersive component and the compound collective component is not less than three times that between the dispersive component and the single collective component. The compound collective component has a collective cemented surface R<6> with its concavity turned inwards and a radius of curvature not greater than one half of the focal length of the complete system. The lenses are of glasses having substantially the same relative dispersion. Specifications 22607/93, 15107/95 and 13061/02, [Class 98, Photography], are referred to.
