Abstract
392. Jones, H. Sefton-, [W³lfing, J. A. von]. Jan. 6. Medicines for internal use.-Tablets for indigestion contain insoluble compounds of calcium or magnesium, or mixtures thereof, together with a suitable binding and flavouring medium. The compounds mentioned are calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, magnesium oxide, and magnesium peroxide. The binding and flavouring medium may consist of chocolate or of a mixture of starch (corn flour), cane sugar, milk sugar, and flavouring-substances such as fruit essences or curaþoa. Pepsine and ginger powder may also be added.
