Abstract

10,975. Todd, A. D. May 10. Filing papers &c. -In a temporary binder comprising two compression bars and means for holding them compressed on the papers, each bar A, A' carries two fixed posts a which do not aline with those on the other bar. The bar A' carries a hollow post b provided with discontinuous corrugations c which may have a helical twist. In a hole d in the bar A turns a tube e carrying within it a rod f having corrugations i to engage the corrugations c when in the locked position. The tube e and rod f are fixed to a cross-head g, the rotary movement of which is limited by a pin h. The back consists of two flanged plates k, k<1> suitably secured to the bars A, A'.
