195,558. Sleight, J. W. June 20, 1922. Screw propellers.-A pitch-measuring instrument comprises a straightedge bar to which is adjustably secured a protractor and a second straightedge bar which is pivoted to the protractor and carries a pointer adapted to move over the protractor. A pivotally mounted spirit level is attached to one bar, and the other bar has adjustable feeler points. A bar a has secured thereto a protractor c, notches k being provided so that the relative positions can be changed. A pivotally mounted spirit level g, is also carried by this bar. A second bar b is pivotally mounted on the protractor, and has a pointer e with a clamping device i engaging a slot j for fixing readings. This bar also has adjustable feelers m.
