Abstract

17,766. Gleadowe-Newcomen, A. H. Aug. 17. Saddles, cavalry. The tree consists of the side bars A to which are riveted a front arch B and rear arch, both of steel of L-section. The bars A are of sheet steel or aluminium with beaded edges and perforated or plain. The girth straps F<1>, F<2>, F<3> are in one with a broad leather strap F which, like the stirrup-strap loops G<1> and leather flaps E, are riveted to the side bars. Loops and bars for straps are provided at H' and D' on metal pieces Hand D riveted in place.
