Abstract

177,355. Davis, A. L. Feb. 17, 1921. Gas exits.-A gas exit consists of an inverted truncated cone 3 depending within a second cone 4 enclosed in a cylindrical casing 5. The cones and casing are perforated at their lowest points 15 and provided with baffles 16, the casing also having a small opening 14 at its upper end. The parts may be fixed permanently to one another or the cones may be fixed to a member 6 which screws into a collar 8 carrying the casing 5.
