Abstract

1536362 Valves DANFOSS AS 3 Feb 1976 [4 Feb 1975] 04180/76 Heading F2V A closure member 7 is attached to a valve stem 9 by a pin 8 arranged in holes 12 and 11 in the closure and stem, respectively, the pin being a sliding or loose fit to allow pivotal movement between the closure and stem and means being provided to retain the pin in position. The means may be a screwed collar covering the outer extremities of the holes 12, an elastic 0-ring or, as shown, the last two turns 15 of a loading spring 10. These last two turns are compressed together and fit in an annular groove 14 provided on the closure 7. The loose fit of the pin 8 allows easy replacement of the closure member 7.
