Abstract

1527803 Stay devices with lubrication ED SCHARWACHTER KG 16 Sept 1976 [22 Sept 1975] 38411/76 Heading E2F A stay device of the kind in which a stay bar (shown in side view in Fig. 7) is provided with thickened portions 4 and slides between two members (one member shown in Figs. 4. 5) located in a support housing (not shown) is lubricated by providing means containing lubricant on the surfaces of the members which contact the bar and/or the housing. The member shown in side view in Fig. 5 has a surface 5 which engages one side of the bar and faces a similar surface on another member. Fig. 4 shows the surface 5 provided with spaced rows of recesses 6 which contain lubricant, similar recesses are provided on surface 2 of each member which engage the housing in use. Lubricant recesses 17 are provided on the bar.
