Abstract
1507031 Preparing alloy powders; coating ceramic STANDARD TELEPHONES AND CABLES Ltd 29 July 1975 [1 Aug 1974] 33984/74 Heading C7D Particles of a first metal are electrolessly coated with a second metal, the coated particles are washed and dried, and then are heated in Ar in a fluidised bed to interdiffuse the metals to form an alloy. The first metal may be Ni and the second Cu, Ag, Pd, Pt, or Au; the finished powder may be applied to a ceramic base and fired at above 1250C in Ar, N 2 , H 2 or vacuum to form a monolithic capacitor.
