Abstract

1500369 Bottle closure; non-refillable stopper JOHNSON & JORGENSEN (PLASTICS) Ltd 1 June 1976 [7 March 1975] 9590/75 Headings B8T and B8D A closure comprises a cap 2 attached by a tear-strip 22 to a pourer 1 which has an upstanding wall 7 forming a non-dip pouring spout, the mouth of which is substantially closed by a plug member 14, 15 having a plurality of holes 16 in the wall thereof to allow liquid to be poured out, and prevent liquid being poured in. Pourer 1 seats over the rim of a bottle by projections 10, 11 and 12 in annular slot 5 and cap 2 seals against web 6, flared edge 8 and the inner surface of wall 7 to prevent leakage.
