Abstract
158,235. Schmidt, P. Jan. 10, 1921. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-The fuel is injected to impinge upon one of two heated surfaces c or h according to the load. At high loads the surface h from which heat is abstracted by the water jacket is used, and at no load the uncooled surface. Two nozzles d, e are used. The Specification as open, to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) described a single nozzle having a lateral orifice which could be directed towards either heated surface by turning the nozzle about its axis. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
