Abstract

1429971 Spraying apparatus D F LILJA 14 Aug 1973 [14 Aug 1972] 38447/73 Heading B2F Spraying apparatus comprises a closed reservoir 11, for product to be sprayed, connected by a line 16 to pistol applicator 17, a main air line 24 connected directly to the applicator and adapted to receive pressurised air from a supply means 25, and an air branch line 37 connecting the main air line to the reservoir through a one-way valve 38. The main air line 24 includes a pressure accummulator 32, and further reservoirs and applicators may be connected to line 36 of the main air line. The valve 38 includes a generally cylindrical flexible member (45) Figs. 2, 3 (not shown) having a collapsible closure (48) at one end. The apparatus is particularly intended for dispensing hair spray, insecticides, paint, anaesthetic, or cleaning fluid. The upper end of trigger 23 is provided with a pair of fingers which crimp the air and epoxy material lines respectively.
