Abstract

1420528 Fructan degrading enzyme SANKYO CO Ltd 19 Feb 1974 [26 Feb 1973] 7547/74 Heading C3H Fructan degrading enzyme is obtained by cultivating a fructan degrading enzyme producing micro-organism of the genus Talaromyces, Eupenicillium, Sporotrichum, Sordaria, Chaetomium, Gelasinospora, Stachybotris or Actinomyces in a nutrient medium therefor, and recovering fructan-degrading enzyme from the resulting culture. The cultivation is preferably conducted at about 28‹ C. at pH 5À5-7À0 using the micro-organisms: Talaromyces flarus var. flarus, Sordaria humana, Chaetomium subspirale, Gelasinospora longispora, Stachybotris lobulata, Eupenicillium javanicum, Sporotrichum schenkii, Talaromyces stipitatus, Talaromyces luteus, Sordaria fimicola, Chaetomium aureum, Chaetomium atrobrunneum Gelasinospora cerealis, Stachybotrin atra, Actinomyces longisporons, Actinomyces cyanoalbus, or Actinomyces lavendofoliac, most preferably using Talaromyces flavus var. flavus FERM P-1892.
