Abstract

1400580 Dyestuff compositions CIBAGEIGY AG 8 Sept 1972 [10 Sept 1971] 41921/ 72 Heading D1B Fluid dispersions of anionic dyes comprise (a) at least 10% by weight of at least one dispersed anionic dyestuff of maximum particle size 5Á, at least 5% by weight based on the weight of the dyestuff of at least one anionactive dispersing agent and water optionally with other aurcilions are prepared by homogenising the ingredients e.g. by grinding in a ball mill or sand mill. Reactive dyes, acid wool dyes, 1:1 and 2:1 metal complex dyes are referred to. Mixtures of anionic dispersing agents may be employed, humectants, bactericides, wetting and antisedimentation agents may be included in the compositions. Wool and synthetic polyamides may be dyed or printed with dyebaths or printing pastes made from these dispersions.
