1400202 Biocidal compositions containing Thiadiazoles CIGA-GEIGY AG 30 Aug 1972 [31 Aug 1971 15 Aug 1972] 40226/72 Heading A5B and A5E [Also in Division C2] Pesticidal and pharmaceutical compositions comprise thiodiazoles of formula where R<SP>1</SP> is H, C 1-4 alkyl optionally monoto tri-substituted by halogen, alkoxy or dialkylamino, C 2-4 alkenyl, C 3-7 cycloalkyl or C 3-7 cycloalkenyl, R 2 is C 1-4 alkyl and n is 1 or 2. Lists of other active ingredients are given. The active ingredients may be used with conventional pesticidal carriers or incorporated into paints or plastics, and pharmaceutical compositions include ointments, powders, solutions and tinctures for treatment of skin infections and disinfection of skin.
