Abstract
1476744 Rotor for photometric analyzer UNITED STATES ENERGY RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION 12 July 1974 [24 July 1973] 31069/74 Heading G2J Sample cuvettes 2 are arranged on a pitch circle and are formed in an opaque material 5 flanked by transparent sheets 6, 7. The cuvettes are loaded directly with one member of the reactant pair, the sample with or without a reagent, by a loading aperture 8. The other of the reactant pair is placed in 3 or in another embodiment or central cavity and is delivered to the cuvette 2 by centrifugal forces. By this arrangement a minimum number of cavities is required per station and the rotor 4 can be miniaturized.
