Abstract

1476020 Heat exchangers SIGRI ELEKTROGBAPHIT GmbH 15 Aug 1975 [16 Aug 1974] 34134/75 Heading F4S A heat exchanger comprises a plurality of blocks 4 of heat conductive material, e.g. graphite, having passages therethrough for heat exchanging fluids which are assembled together by clamping within a tubular casing formed by tubular sections 1a, 1b, 1c assembled end-to-end and clamped together by the rods 5 between clamping plates 2. The casing sections have no flanges but are sealed by flat packing rings 6 between adjacent end surfaces and at least some sections have connections 3 for the supply and discharge of the fluids.
