Abstract

1470080 Waveguides LES CABLES DE LYON 21 June 1974 [4 July 1973] 27787/74 Addition to 1375469 Heading H1W In a method of making plastics-coated metal waveguides in accordance with claim 1 of Specification 1,375,469, the external surface of the metal conductor is treated to increase its adhesion to the plastics coating. The treatment can consist of physical roughening, e.g. knurling, spraying molten metal on to the conductor, applying a metallic paint or applying an intermediate layer of plastics material.
