146,810. Fairbrother, H., (Neometric Dental Instrument Co.). April 20, 1920. Teeth, artificial.- In removable dental bridge-work, the bridge part comprising a saddle 10 carrying artificial teeth 7 and 8, is fitted with connecting-members 11 made of a metallic strip doubled and bent to the form of a T, the cross-bar of the T being tnus resilient ana adapted to engage firmly the closed bottomed sockets 9 carried by the piers 5 and 6. Either the socket or the T-piece is adapted by a grinding- process to enable the bridge to rock slightly transversely to its length. The sockets and connecting-members are preferably secured to the pier and artificial bridge teeth respectively by soldering in metallic inlays. In a modification, the sockets are carried by the bridge portion and the connecting-members by the piers.
