Abstract

1465698 Aircraft inflatable seats WESTLAND AIRCRAFT Ltd 25 June 1974 [2 July 1973] 31477/73 Heading B7W [Also in Division A4] An inflatable helicopter seat (see Division A4) is connected to the helicopter by straps 25 secured to the seat back 13 and provided with hooks 27 and by two triangular nets 28 secured one to each side of the seat, each net being secured along its base to the floor 30 and at its apex to straps 31 secured to the roof 26. The inflation supply for the seat may be derived from a tapping on the helicopter engine compressor.
