Abstract

1461258 Photographic processing KODAK Ltd 12 June 1974 [12 March 1973] 11786/73 Heading G2X Photographic processing apparatus for diffusion transfer comprises a base 1, which supports an image receiving sheet 2, a carriage 5 which moves relative to the base 1 and has means such as a roller 8 which dips in a trough 7 of developer solution, and applies developer to an image carrying sheet 3, and roller 11 also movable with the carriage 5, to urge the sheets progressively into contact. In operation the image carrying sheet is connected by a clamp to a leader secured to the base 1, and the receiving sheet is positioned on the base 1 by a bar (28), Fig. 6 (not shown), co-operating holes and pins in the clamp and bar respectively serving to align the two sheets. The carriage 5 is then moved longitudinally of the base 1, a roller 9, which may be pivotally movable away from roller 8, pressing the sheet 3 against roller 8. After completion of the carriage traverse the two sheets are peeled apart.
