Abstract

1460947 Jet propulsion M K E CZERNIAK 28 April 1975 [29 April 1974] 18733/74 Heading B7V A water craft comprises a duct 10 in the bow section that leads to an open inverted channel towards the stern, and an impeller 4 located in the duct. The floor section 5 of the duct 10 can be vertically adjustable to vary the crosssection. Air or gas jets 7 reduce skin friction. Vanes 6, Fig. 9, not shown, effect steering.
