Abstract
1453234 Liquid pharmaceutical compositions DOONER LABORATORIES INC 5 April 1974 [5 April 1973] 15228/74 Heading A5B Liquid pharmaceutical compositions comprise theophylline or a therapeutically active salt, complex or derivative thereof, dissolved in a liquid vehicle which comprises propylene glycol, glycerine and water. The compositions may be prepared by suspending the active ingredient in glycerine to form a suspension, dissolving the suspension in propylene glycol and mixing with water. Sodium benzoate. methyl paraben, citric acid, sorbitol, flavouring, dyes and sweetening agents may also be present.
