Abstract

1452437 Window drainage FABER BV 8 July 1974 30140/74 Heading E1J An elongate frame member to take the lower edge of a pane or panel 2 to be mounted in a door 13 has a channel 1 and a gutter 3. The gutter has drainage holes 6 leading to a pressure equalisation chamber 5 beneath the gutter and the channel. The bottom 7 of the chamber slopes towards the outside of the door and the front wall 8 of the chamber leaves a gap 10 which is clear for the full length of the member. A horizontal fixing flange 12 is provided. The pressure equalization chamber prevents draughts blowing the condensate water back.
