Abstract

1335994 Collapsible containers TECHNIFIL SARL 15 Dec 1970 59481/70 Heading B8P A collapsible container comprises a base 1 having feet 3, three walls 6 hinged together with the centre wall hinged to the base and a fourth wall also hinged to the base and divided by a horizontal hinge and hooked to the ends of the two end walls to form an erect container. The feet 3 extend slightly outwardly to facilitate stacking and projections on the tops of the end walls locate the feet when so stacked. In a second embodiment, Fig. 10, the fourth wall comprises a two-part member 106, 107 and a second two-part member 106<1>, 107<1>. These members slide in guides 108, 109 the parts 106, 106<1> folding towards each other to close the fourth side (Figs. 11, 12, not shown). In a further embodiment, Fig. 13, an aperture is provided in the base of each container so that as goods are taken from the lowermost container the goods feed down from containers stacked thereon.
