Abstract
1333651 Spray producers I A WIGLEY 15 Dec 1971 [2 Jan 1971] 197/71 Heading B2F In a liquid spraying device which comprises a frame-like support 1, Fig. 1, a member 3 for coupling to a liquid supply pipe, and a nozzle 5, Fig. 5, spaced from a spreader element 2, there is provided a housing portion 1a which includes upper and lower bores le, 1c, the shoulder 1f between which bores forms a seating for the nozzle 5, the nozzle being a sliding fit within the upper bore 1e, so that it can be removed, e.g. for cleaning purposes. The upper and lower limbs 1g, 1b of the frame 1 have ribs 1i on each face of the frame to assist deflection of the spray dispersed by the spreader 2 which comprises a peg. The coupling element 3 may be of hand turnable screw form and incorporate a filter, or may be a 'T'-piece. The device may be connected to a supply pipe having a one-way valve which is normally closed but opens upon fitting the device to the pipe.
