1333165 Slip rings for dynamo-electric machines VEREINIGUNG VOLKSEIGENER BETRIEBE ELEKTRISCHE KONSUMGUTER 21 Jan 1971 2897/71 Heading H2A A slip ring assembly comprises non-metallic slip rings 2, 3 carried by an insulating, cylindrical body 1 formed with channel-shaped recesses on the peripheral surface in which are located strip connectors 5 having arcuate contact surfaces 6 equipped with claws 7 which cut into the internal periphery of the step rings. Contact is improved by a coating of conductive paste, e.g. a graphite dispersion, on the surfaces 6. The rings are slid on to the body 1 until they abut stops 8 on the connectors after which the assembly is impregnated with an insulating settable resin.
