Abstract

1330438 Extrusion press installations LINDEMANN MASOHINENPABRIK GmbH 14 Jan 1972 [2 March 1971] 1937/72 Heading B3P An extrusion press installation comprises an extrusion press 1, a stretching and straightening device 6 for the extruded product and at least two cutting-off devices to which the stretched and straightened products are fed alternately. Conveyers 3 of the walking-beam type move the extruded products transversely from a roller bed 2 to a transfer table 4 also of the walking beam type, which moves the products to the stretching and straightening device 6. A set of conveyer arms 9 with a conveyer belt 10 is pivotally mounted at the exit of the device 6 so as to direct the products on to either a conveyer belt 12 to a roller table 7 or to a reciprocating cradle on a finger 15 under the device 6. The cradle deposits the products on a conveyer belt 17 to a roller table 8. Each roller table 7, 8 has a sawing device (not shown), to cut the products into the required lengths. The transfer table 4 and the arms 9 interfit either upstream or downstream of the device 6.
