Abstract

1330270 Cigarette packets MASCHINENFABRIK FR. NIEPMANN & CO 23 Aug 1972 [17 Feb 1972] 39263/72 Heading B8P A blank for forming a packet for a block of cigarettes or cigars has a pair of panels 4, 5 foldable to form a double thickness side wall, a tear strip 5a being formed in the outer panel 5, and a T-shaped slot 14 formed in the inner panel 4 to receive the tear strip on re-closure of the packet. In the assembled packet a flap 15 on the end of closure flap 10 is stuck to the tear strip 5a. Closure flaps 10 and 11 are torn along perforated fold lines 16 on pulling the tear strip 5a.
